Music From a Man in a Hole at Marengo Cave

Indianapolis musician and composer Steve Goodman will be performing two concerts inside Marengo Cave on December 8th and 9th at 1 pm. "Music from a man in a Hole" is his current performance art piece, supported by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts grant program.

This series of compositions, to be performed in a high resonance and long reverberation environment, specifically a cave or sinkhole, by the artist playing two part harmony on a violin, chimes, a drum and with vocal overtones simultaneously. In addition to concerts, a CD will be recorded of music performed in the cave.

Seating is limited to 60 people per performance. For information contact Marengo Cave at (812) 365-2705.
