Canoeing Trips

Blue River was the first river to be included in Indiana's state scenic and natural river system. It features lots of fun riffles and stretches of smooth paddling. Enjoy beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. Experience the rugged beauty of Southern Indiana's hill country much as it was 200 years ago. Cave Country Canoes offers a variety of canoe and kayak trips on the beautiful Blue River. It is the perfect water adventure for people of all ages!

Half Day Trips

Our 7 mile trip provides a perfect half day introduction to paddle sports for groups of all ages. Your adventure will take from 2-4 hours depending on the river level, your skills and how many breaks you take!

Reservations

24 hour minimum advance reservation with $100 deposit for group rates.

Two Day Trips

Our two day trips include the best portion of the river available at the time of your arrival. Though available most of the season, we recommend scheduling your trip in the spring or early summer for optimal river levels.

No alcohol is allowed in the camping areas used along the river.
All camping must be in designated campgrounds on the river.

Helpful Hints:

• Call early to see if the date you want is open! Our busiest canoe dates are Saturdays in May, June, and July.
• To hear our 24 hour river report, call 877.702.2837. Choose option 2 from the automated voice prompts.
• Advanced deposits required with 10 or more canoes for group rates.

Full Day Trips

Groups with experienced paddlers can challenge members with our full day trips.

Lengths will also vary based on the water level and your individual abilities.

Kayaks

Kayaks are an increasingly popular way to experience Blue River and with our large selection, your whole group can rent kayaks!

We offer a large number of kayaks with both cockpit and sit on top models. We also offer smaller kayaks for children and smaller adults.
